Property

There are many types of property out in the market, terrace, detached, semi-detached and apartments. Each property has its own market of people too, for example, a flat usually applies to a student where’s a house usually applies to a family. Each property also has to looked after, this includes maintenance, hygiene, its presentation and recycling, which can include cleaning out bins (i.e. rubbish removal), sweeping patios, clearing litter etc. Even with an ‘in-town’ property, since the recession, prices are still high, although slowly decreasing, still high. Since the recession, not many properties have been sold, though there is still a general circulation for students or middle/upper class families.

Properties in the countryside can be more tantalizing then others. This may be because there is that added bit of tranquillity with an out of town property as the amount of people and volume of traffic decreases. Secondly, it usually gives people more space not just for themselves, but for vehicles and storage space. The downside for property is that it is out of the way of useful places, including shops and town centres. Properties in town centres are useful as they are close to most working places, train stations and bus stations. However, they are also more prone to the amount of people living in those areas, and the volume of noise and traffic increases.
