New site for Morrisons
The fourth largest supermarket in the UK, Morrisons, has taken on a new site in Croydon. It is an 11.3 acre site which is situated in Purley Way in Fiveways. Morrisons are hoping to regenerate this site by working alongside the council to draw up plans for this regeneration. Morrison’s property group director Terry Hartwell say that they are hoping to continue their journey in growing their portfolio throughout the country, from national to nationwide. They are hoping that the acquisition of the latest site demonstrates to the public their commitment to gain key sites in main areas such as London and the South East to realise this strategy.
