Celebrities being gossip and glamour, fashion and some even become idols to us. One of the most fascinating things about celebrities is where they live. Since an area where celebrities live will always be high maintenance or upper class, there is always interest in properties in that establishment.
Many people believe that if an area is good enough for a celebrity, then it is good enough for them, and if a celebrity buys a house, there’s always an inkling for a non celebrity to buy one too. Of course, there is always the case that living next door to George Clooney or Cameron Diaz is rather more appealing than a regular individual.

The ups and downs of Terraced Houses

Terrace houses are almost identical houses joined together in a street. The amount of houses in a terrace row can vary as it depends on the length of the street. Since they are usually found in the centre of towns, they are usually cheaper than say semi-detached and detaches houses.
There are several advantages of living in a terrace house. The most obvious is their location (usually). Being near town, it means a shorter distance to supermarkets, workplaces and bars. Secondly, if the neighbours are friendly enough, then a good social life can be built and the lending of items is also useful. Thirdly, there will always be a good neighbourhood watch, as there are more people living in that area.
There are also several disadvantages. The most obvious is the noise content. Being in such an enclosed area means you are more vulnerable to noise from neighbours, traffic etc. The second is car parking space which can be made more difficult if there is a lot of drivers in the street.

Detached or Semi-Detached?

There’s a common argument at which type of housing: detached or semi-detached appeals to people most. It is an obvious fact that detached houses are a lot quieter than semi-detached houses as neighbours in the ‘attached’ house in a semi would make more noise than not.
Though if one were to live in a respectable neighbourhood, it could be a pleasure to share one giant house with friendly neighbours than not. For an example, if tenants in a semi-detached were going on holiday and owned a pet, and their neighbours were friendly enough then they could leave their pet with their neighbours (where’s in a detached It would depend on exactly how close the nearest neighbour lived).

Modern Design in Property

Every home owner enjoys home comforts. The most obvious way of obtaining home comforts is through the security and safety a house can offer. Secondly and maybe more important, is the modern furniture found in properties. People decorate their home according to what appeals to them most, so in a way, a house’s furniture and cleanliness is portraying an individual’s personal way of life.
At this current time, furniture such as glass tables, laminate flooring and leather couches are very popular. Secondly, most décor in houses is now usually creamy white-bright colours (which help highlight the furniture). The only problem with this is companies increase the price of these items as they are more looked for.
Modern design doesn’t just refer to the way a house looks inside, but also on the outside. Presentation to passers by is as important as a property looks from the inside as a more presentable, cleaner looking house not only pleases neighbours, but it also means there’s a higher chance of it selling (or a chance of it selling more). This can even include gardening or the inclusion of plants to a property. Well trimmed hedges and grass gives its tenants a more warm welcome than that without.

Properties in Macclesfield

Macclesfield town is notably famous for the development of silk, however, this is not the only town’s selling point. Being a town in Cheshire, Macclesfield will always interest buyers from working class, middle class and (especially) upper class.
Even with the current recession ending, properties have still risen in price; which has led to most citizens of the town extending their homes by either adding conservatories, garages and extra driveway space.
The more expensive properties are located in Tytherington, Buxton Road and Pexhill road. The least expensive properties are usually located nearer the centre of the town or in one of the several estates in Macclesfield (including the Upton, Weston and Moss estates).
